Someone Loved Me
no one could have ever convinced me that the
hole in my soul would someday be healed as 
the result of being filled with the love of Christ. I just
assumed my inner pain, shame, self-hatred, loss of
dignity and self-respect would be a permanent part of
my life—until the very end. Furthermore, every form of
disappointment created by myself or others seemed to
confirm my belief that I was not good enough or
worthy of the goodness, grace, and mercy Christ
promised in His Word. Then, I stumbled on the stark
reality that my problem was not so much to do with          
the abuse, but rather, the strongholds that were
created as a result of it. My freedom was not contingent
on forgetting the trauma of the painful events but had
more to do with being liberated from the fortress that
had been designed to keep me in a constant state of
mental defeat—spirit, soul, and body.
This book takes you into the most important aspects of
my journey. A journey of pain, fear, guilt, bitterness,
and feelings of unworthiness. But also one of
deliverance, freedom, peace, and joy. It is a passage
from being a victim of sexual abuse to being a victor
over the abuse through Jesus Christ.
If you have experienced abuse in your life. I pray that
reading this book and walking through my journey will
help you to find the love, peace, and friendship I have
found in Jesus. May the Word of God and the power of
the Holy Spirit touch your life, heal the wounds and set
you free to live again.

The Rest Of The Story/The 2 Packages..

While listening to a training webinar featuring Tamara Lowe, she shared an experience she had, when she started a remodeling project in her home. It seemed as if one of her neighbors felt compelled to come over and share the nightmare she had experienced when remodeling her home. Consequently, when the lady left Tamara, said she began to feel discouraged and had thoughts of scrapping the idea altogether

Then she said all of a sudden she heard herself say, wait a minute, I am not signing for that package. Remodeling my home is going to be one of the greatest experiences of my life. It is going to be wonderful and my house is going to be beautiful, and in the end, that is exactly what happened.


It was at this point I got a revelation. I realized that at crucial times in my life I had also received 2 packages, one spoke a blessing bringing life, the other spoke a curse bringing death, and my choice would have a major impact on the course of my future. It reminded me of Deuteronomy (30:19) where God tells us he gives us a choice between life and death, blessing, and curses. And we should choose life.

My first 2 packages arrived early in life. One package said I was doomed to the failure of being a statistic. I was poor, with an alcoholic teenage mother, and absentee father. But the second package said that In the Ghetto only the strong survive. I decided to be one of the strong, so I signed for that package.


Then as I entered my teens some traumatic events of the past caught up with me and I launched a reign of terror on my own soul. I began fighting, ditching school, running away and going in and out of juvenile hall. Finally, the system threw in the towel on me and I was on my way to Ventura correctional facility, which was a prison for juvenile offenders. It was during this time that I received the 2nd set of packages. One of my teachers told me I was no good and I would never amount to anything. I burned that package. The second package came when I went before a judge for sentencing and he told me that after reviewing my case, he felt that I had a tremendous amount of untapped potential, but something in my life had gone terribly wrong so he was going to give me another chance by getting me the help I needed. So I signed for that package.  And My life of criminal behavior ended.


Years later I got married and had 2 children when I received another set of packages.
One revealed to me my husband, an excellent father and provider was a serial cheater.
I set that package to the side. The second package reminded me that this man loved me and honestly felt I was the best person that had ever walked the face of the earth. So I signed for that package.Fast-forward, I ended up leaving years later not because of infidelity but due to disagreements on how the children should be raised.



Shortly after the divorce, I received another set of packages. One came through meeting some foreign university students, who convinced me that I had what it took to enter the university and receive a degree in a field of my choice. I filed that package away. Then the second package came in the form of me discussing the idea with my mother to hear what she thought. She started laughing telling me what a stupid idea it was. I did not have enough education, I would be competing with kids 3 times younger than I was, I had 2 children and a job to deal with. I would never make it. Then I started to remember how as a child she was always talking about how dumb I was and laugh about it with her friends. I decided not to sign for that package, I went to junior college transferred to the University, made Deans list, president's list. Graduated with 2 degrees in one.

Moved on through life hit another ruff patch. Got involved with the wrong people started using drugs and living in a very fast lane. When another set of packages arrived. One told me this was a life choice I would not recover from, addiction is not something easily controlled. Life as I once knew it was over. But the 2nd package came in the form of receiving a Bible from a friends mother. There I met a man named Jesus who explained to me that he had given his life for me and that I would be able to live the abundant life, so I immediately signed for that package. That was almost 40 years ago, I never turned back.

Went on serving the Lord with all I had to offer. However, when I hit the seasoned years, I began to have regrets about past mistakes, Felt I had missed the plan of God for my life and walking out my destiny.
Thank God, I received another set Of packages. One agreed that I missed God, And all my gifts and talents would be buried in the grave right next to me. I have to admit I almost signed for that package. But when I looked at the other package It said I had not missed the plan of God for my life, my life experience was actually going to be used to usher me into the assignment God had for me to complete, so I rushed to sign for that package and wrote and published 2 daily devotionals. One for adults and one for children.


But as I went back and looked at my life I realized the highlight had been the time I overheard a guy I was dating at the time telling my son what a bad boy he was. I deliberately did not intervene because I wanted to hear what my son's response would be and after he let him get it all out and say everything he wanted to say. I waited and after a few seconds, I heard my son say. But my mom thinks I am good. My heart leaped for joy because I Knew that as a man of color I did not have to be concerned about his future because he also knew which package to sign for.

The Healing Of Sexual Trauma..

The greatest obstacle in overcoming the trauma of sexual abuse can be the acceptance of spirit led deliverance orchestrated by our Lord and Savior and then carried out by the Holy Spirit. It can be an agonizing process because the process of deliverance is also attached to being able to genuinely forgive the perpetrator. This process can sometimes take many years as layer upon layer of wounds and pain are being constantly uncovered, exposed and then, at some point healed. Consequently, there are times we will not be aware that healing in a particular area has even taken place until another unrelated painful event takes place, and the Holy Spirit shines His light into an area of your spirit, and you discover there is no longer darkness dwelling there. The most valuable lesson I have learned through this process is: Pain sometimes heals pain, and wounds can often heal other wounds, when we submit our mind will and emotions to the Lordship of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They will together orchestrate the perfect plan for our complete healing and redemption. To God be all glory, honor, and praise. Amen!

Can God Turn Your Evil Actions Into Your Salvation?

My answer to the question is an absolute yes. I have personally experienced, the  truth of

I had the pleasure of spending some time with a wonderful Saint of God last week, with whom I felt comfortable in sharing my testimony, before Christ. I shared with her how God had used some of His 5 Star Generals to arrest my spirit as I was on a mission of destroying my soul through the use of crack cocaine. I emphasize these Prayer Warriors were 5 Star Generals. They came after me in the crack house, not something for an unseasoned Prayer Warrior to attempt to do or even think about. This happened on two occasions that I clearly remember. And although on those two occasions, as they were witnessing to me, they did not get my agreement or full attention, something happened to me on the inside. These women through the power of the Holy Spirit got the agreement and attention of my spirit man. Satan was positive he had me, not realizing I was about to escape and get out of and away from his camp! We have seen it countless times in Gods word where someone was buried deep in sin and God used that evil lifestyle to draw them to Himself. I believe, that because God created you, he is looking at the fact that what he created you for is still in there. Take a look at the lives of those He has given as examples for us to look at. Rahab one of my favorites along with Moses, and Apostle Paul. Rahab was obviously still conducting business when the spies came to visit her, Saul who later became the Apostle Paul, was out killing Christians  and Moses was a sociopathic murderer, yet God used these propensities for evil to turn them into the Great men and women of God they eventually became.

Name Meaning—The first part of Rahab—“Ra,” was the name of an Egyptian god. As an Amorite, Rahab belonged to an idolatrous people, and had a name meaning “insolence,” “fierceness,” or “broad,” “spaciousness.”

Family Connections—While Rahab’s parents, brothers and sisters were alive at the time of her association with the spies Joshua sent out, we are not given any of their names (Joshua 2:13). Some of the ancient Jewish fathers who held her in high reputation reckoned that she was the wife of Joshua himself, but in the royal genealogy of Jesus, Rahab is referred to as being the wife of Salmon, one of the two spies she sheltered. In turn, she became the mother of Boaz, who married Ruth from whose son, Obed, Jesse the father of David came, through whose line Jesus was born (Matthew 1:5, where the asv reads, “Salmon begat Boaz of Rahab”—not Rachab). Salmon was a prince of the house of Judah, and thus, Rahab, the one time heathen harlot, married into one of the leading families of Israel and became an ancestress of our Lord, the other foreign ancestresses being Tamar, Ruth and Bathsheba. What Makes You Question Your Path?

Many of our hero's of faith had to fight to stay the course of their God-given destiny. Joseph, Abraham, David, and Rahab just to name a few. I can only imagine the internal struggles they went through to keep trusting God. Sometimes our struggles in life allow us to mask our fear or doubts for a season. However, there comes a time when the enemy get's nervous due to you spiritual tenacity and perseverance. Yes, I did say nervous, he is a created being, so don't think it is strange when he seems to ramp up the pressure. Your only assignment in this battle is to stand in the full armor of God in complete stillness and you will definitely see the salvation of the Lord! Praise be to our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Disappointment Or Gods Protection?

As a result of having multiple gifts and talents, we may sometimes confuse being disappointed with God protecting us from ourselves. Yes, our Father will protect you from you. Pastor Kevin brought up an interesting truth yesterday where I realized a good thing can be a snare or trap of Satan. The apple in the garden on the tree of life was a good thing, however, it became a trap by Satan to rob Adam and eve Of their Inheritance of this earth and open the door for future generations to be robbed as well. But I digress, Why would God allow us to be disappointed when using His gift for the body of Christ? The disappointment was the wrong path.Which path you might say. The path to your God-given destiny. The destiny God created you to walk in. When disappointment comes through man, circumstances , situations, ungodly actions by others ,etc, it may well be God saying you are on the wrong path, turn around and go the other way! Let my Holy Spirit direct you, He will not lead you astray.

Deliverance Prayer

I break all spoken curse and spells that may have been performed over my life and any curses resulting from involvement with Ouija board, Psychics, tarot cards, Horoscopes, secular music, or through TV, movies or pornography.

I break all curses off my family, marriage, children, and relatives. I break every shackle, chain, cord, habit, craving, debt, soul-ties and any spirit that has tried to rob, kill, or destroy my life.

I command my family to be set free. I break every demonic assignment over my family. Satan, loose them now! In Jesus’ name! According to Galatians 3:13, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am now God’s child and through my Lord Jesus, I am able to cast down all demonic powers and spirits that come against me or in my family’s lives.

I am not cursed, but blessed! I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am blessed and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. I am free, and I am saved. I have now exercised my faith and know that confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9,10). All of my sins have been remitted, and I am loosed from the curse that came as a result of disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God.

Thank you Heavenly Father, thank you, Lord Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for forgiving me and loving me. Thank you for setting me free from every curse and spirit that has operated in my life. Father God, I pray for discernment and for a new vision to help me recognize and resist all evil and all fleshly, worldly ways. I am anointed through the Lord Jesus Christ, and I thank you, Jesus, for your guidance and discipline as I continue to be a victorious soldier and holy child. AMEN.

The Reward Of His Sacrifice!

Soul restoration begins in the heart through our Fathers word and the power of His spirit. Let us rejoice and be glad in His everlasting Joy and Grace, We are filled with the power of God by His Holy Spirit yet, we are filled with his love by the sacrificial death and resurrection of His Son Jesus. As a result, we come to Jesus who becomes the author and finisher of our faith, transforming us into the image of God our Father resulting in a path to eternal life. Hallelujah!

Lingering In The Light Of His Love!

Heavenly Father, Let the light of your unfailing love consume me as you overwhelm me with your presence. All glory, honor, and praise belong to you the author and finisher of my faith. Your love has made me great and I continue to trust you as the all consuming fire of deliverance, from past abuse, rejection., shame, and regret. You said in your word let the redeemed of the Lord say so and as the redeemed, I say Satan you have no authority over my mind, will and emotions. My soul is healed, transformed and renewed. All illegal trespassers have been evicted by the power of Gods  spirit and the blood of the Lamb. Thank you, Father, that I have been adopted into the bloodline of Christ and my DNA is part of the divine Godhead. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
